GRAFIK DESIGN AWARDS

Earlier last month (12th February 2010) I submitted a lot of my recent work to the very first GRAFIK magazine's DESIGN AWARDS competition under the BEST NEWCOMER category. The best entries are currently being shortlisted and will be announced soon. The competition had a few entry guidelines, one of which was a limit of 10 images maximum to be submitted per entry. The line-up of judges is pretty incredible, Kate Moross and Peter Saville to name a few, so whatever happens with the actual competition it's been a pleasure to be able to get my stuff looked over by some of the best in the game.

"The winners will be presented with a Grafik Design Awards trophy at our awards party on Thursday 29 April 2010 at the fabulous Wapping Project. We expect the trophy to become highly coveted – and because we love design, it will be something you will be proud to put on your mantelpiece.
In addition, thirty entries will be shortlisted and two people representing each shortlisted project will receive a free invitation to attend the event. Tickets for the awards party will cost £70 and as space will be very limited they will be offered first to the guests of shortlisted applicants."
